Good Shepherd

Good Shepherd (2)

“When something takes you where you do not know and yet all along the way, God continues to provide, it is an adventure.  And there is nothing more beautiful”.  Sophia Calvaletti

Welcome to our Good Shepherd Catechism. This faith teaching process is called the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. It takes place in an atrium. The antechamber that led to the Basilica of ancient times was called an ‘Atrium’ – the place where catechumens were instructed. The atrium can be compared to a retreat house facilitating recollection and silence. It is a place of work which becomes a conversation with God. It is a place for religious life – not a classroom for instruction.

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a simple and effective Christian message presented to the children after they reach the age of three. Great truths are placed before the child in ways he can touch and feel, absorb and understand.

We have a Facebook page where we post various work that the child/children will do during the year. You will see what takes place in Atrium on a regular basis. So join us on our journey.
