Parish of the Resurrection

Our Mission

A vibrant community, rooted in the joy of the Resurrection, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ!

Our Vision

Maintaining the status quo while focusing on creating a Missionary Mind Set for long-term impact.

Our Purpose

Building a relationship with God and importantly with each other. Building community, a church of disciples that will change our corner of the world.

Journeying Together in Faith

The Parish of the Resurrection is a Catholic Christian community of disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that everyone is called to be on a spiritual journey and what matters is not where a person is on that journey, but that they are actually on the journey itself. Therefore, we seek to welcome all people regardless of the stage of their spiritual life, their struggles and failures. We are a hospital for sinners, not a hotel for Saints. We simply ask that you walk with us and be Open to what God is calling you too.

Meet Our Clergy

Meet Parish Priest, Fr. Carlo Adams (OSFS), Assistant, Priest Fr. Gavin Atkins (OSFS), and our Parish Deacon, Dcn. Lloyd Langford, who faithfully serve our parish with dedication and compassion. Through their leadership, prayer, and pastoral care, they guide parishioners in their faith journeys and help foster a welcoming, vibrant, and faith-filled community where all feel supported and inspired.

Our Parish Expectations

We offer uplifting liturgies in a welcoming community where you can grow into the person God created you to be. Here, your unique gifts are valued and given meaningful opportunities to serve God and others. Your voice and contributions are respected, and your financial gifts are stewarded responsibly and transparently to strengthen our parish and build God’s Kingdom. Together, we strive to be a vibrant, prayerful community where all can grow, serve, and experience God’s love.

We offer dynamic and uplifting liturgies in a community where transformation is possible, helping you become more fully the person God created you to be. Here, you are valued and recognised for your unique gifts and talents, and given meaningful opportunities to use them in service to God, to support others, and to make a positive difference in the world.

Your voice, your needs, and your contributions will be genuinely listened to and respected. Your financial gifts will be honoured and stewarded responsibly, used transparently to nurture faith, strengthen our parish, and build up the Kingdom of God. Together, we seek to create a welcoming, vibrant, and prayerful community where everyone can grow, serve, and experience God’s love in tangible ways.

What We Expect From Our Parishioners

To Worship

Each Sunday, the Lord’s Day, we gather to celebrate the Eucharist. Parish members are encouraged to attend unless prevented by illness or travel. Through Word and Sacrament, we are renewed, receive God’s grace, and are strengthened to love God and one another.

To Grow

To follow Jesus is to be His disciple, constantly learning and growing. Discipleship is a journey, and to prevent spiritual stagnation, parish members are encouraged to participate in at least one faith-formation program each year, strengthening themselves and the Church.

To Serve

Following Jesus means living as His disciple and continually growing in faith. Since spiritual growth is a lifelong responsibility, each parish member is expected to participate in at least one faith-formation program annually, supporting one another and strengthening the Church.

To Connect and Give

The Church is a community of believers called to active participation beyond Sunday worship. Parishioners are encouraged to give generously according to their means, supporting the Church’s mission and care for others.
