Fellowships

Growing Together in Faith and Community

Fellowship is at the heart of our parish community. It is where faith becomes friendship, where support becomes strength, and where we grow together in Christ. Through shared prayer, service, learning, and social connection, our groups create spaces where everyone can feel welcomed, encouraged, and valued.

Whether you are exploring your faith through Alpha, serving with the Catholic Women’s League, deepening your spiritual life in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Group, walking in devotion with the Legion of Mary, or connecting through our men’s and women’s groups, there is a place for you here. We invite you to join us and experience the joy of belonging to a vibrant, faith-filled community.

What We Offer

ALPHA

The Alpha Course is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, usually run over eleven weeks, and was started by Nicky Gumbel at Holy Trinity Brompton in London in 1990. It provides a welcoming environment where participants can explore Christianity, ask questions, and share their views. Topics include “Who is Jesus?”, “Why and how do I pray?”, “How does God guide us?”, and “What about the Church?”. Sessions often include a meal, a short talk or video, and small group discussions. Alpha helps people grow in their understanding of God, develop a personal relationship with Jesus, and has become widely used for evangelism and discipleship in churches worldwide.

Golden Heart Family Group

The Golden Heart Family Group is a vibrant parish initiative bringing families together for worship, prayer, and community. Designed especially for families with children, it provides a supportive environment to grow in faith, strengthen family bonds, and share in spiritual enrichment. Meetings include collective worship, prayer sessions, and faith-based activities for all ages. The group also organizes social events, holiday celebrations, and outreach projects that promote family unity and service.

Meeting regularly with a flexible schedule, the Golden Heart Family Group invites all families to join, deepen their faith, and enjoy fellowship in a welcoming and nurturing community.

Catholic Charismatic Renewal

The Catholic Charismatic Renewal Group offers a lively expression of faith and spirituality. Focused on the personal experience of the Holy Spirit, the group meets for prayer, worship, teaching on the gifts of the Spirit, and sharing testimonies. Open to all parishioners seeking spiritual renewal, it provides a supportive environment for growing in faith, deepening one’s relationship with God, and participating in the charismatic life of the Church.

Through prayer meetings, retreats, and outreach, the group aims to enrich parish life and inspire renewed commitment to living the Gospel.

St. Monica’s Women’s Fellowship

The St. Monica’s Women’s Fellowship is a vibrant and welcoming group within the parish, bringing together women of all ages to grow in faith, friendship, and service. Inspired by the perseverance and prayerful example of Saint Monica, the group gathers regularly for prayer, Scripture reflection, and meaningful conversation, supporting one another in their spiritual journeys. Through acts of charity, outreach initiatives, and involvement in parish life, the fellowship seeks to strengthen the community while nurturing a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

United in faith and purpose, the women of St. Monica’s Fellowship strive to be witnesses of hope and love, serving their families, parish, and wider community with generosity, faithfulness, and a spirit of joyful discipleship.

St Joseph’s Men’s Group

The Knights of St Joseph’s Men’s Group is a brotherhood within the parish dedicated to fostering faith, leadership, and service among men. Inspired by the humility, strength, and quiet devotion of Saint Joseph, the group meets regularly for prayer, reflection, and fellowship, encouraging one another to grow as spiritual leaders in their families and community.

Through acts of service, parish involvement, and outreach, the Knights strive to live out their calling with integrity, supporting one another in their journey to follow Jesus Christ more faithfully. Rooted in fraternity and accountability, the group provides a space where men can share their experiences, deepen their understanding of the faith, and strengthen their commitment to living out Gospel values in everyday life. In unity and purpose, the Knights of St Joseph seek to be a visible witness of Christ’s love, building up the Church and serving others with compassion, humility, and steadfast faith.

Young Adults

The Young Adults group is a dynamic community for those seeking to grow in faith, friendship, and purpose. Through regular gatherings that include prayer, Scripture reflection, and meaningful discussions, members are encouraged to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ while navigating the challenges of young adult life. Beyond the church setting, the group also organises a variety of social events such as hikes, “Theology on Tap” evenings, and other smaller get-togethers, creating opportunities for connection, fun, and authentic community.

Rooted in openness and authenticity, the group provides a welcoming space where young adults can ask questions, share their experiences, and support one another in both faith and everyday life. It seeks to accompany members as they discern their vocations, make important life decisions, and grow in confidence as disciples of Christ.

Connect

Connect is a Christian-based small faith-sharing initiative that brings people together in the comfort of their homes to grow in faith and community. These small groups provide a space for Scripture reflection, prayer, and open conversation, helping individuals deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ in a more personal and relatable way. Through meaningful discussion and mutual support, Connect fosters a sense of belonging and encourages participants to live out their faith in everyday life. Rooted in trust and authentic connection, these gatherings create an environment where individuals can share their stories, ask questions, and journey together in faith.

With a focus on building strong, faith-filled relationships, Connect seeks to nurture small communities that reflect Christ’s love, strengthening both the individuals within them and the wider parish community.
